Our Commitment
The Dermatology Collective is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
thedermatologycollective.com is built to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This includes:
- Text alternatives for non-decorative images and structured page landmarks for screen reader navigation
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Forms with associated labels, programmatic required-field indicators, and clear error messaging
- Respect for users' reduced-motion preferences to minimize animation
- Skip-to-content links to help keyboard and screen reader users bypass repeated navigation
Compatibility
This website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browser combinations:
- Recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- TalkBack on Android
- NVDA and JAWS on Windows
- Keyboard-only navigation
The website is built primarily using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA — technologies that are widely supported by current assistive-technology software.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of and actively working on the following:
- Some content provided by third-party services (online scheduling, membership platform, financing applications) is hosted outside of our domain. We have selected vendors with accessibility programs of their own; if you encounter a barrier on a third-party page, please contact us and we will help you complete your task by phone or in person.
Feedback & Assistance
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of thedermatologycollective.com. If you encounter accessibility barriers, or need information or services on this site in a different format, please contact us — we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We test the site with automated tools and assisted-technology reviews on a regular basis and update this statement as the site evolves. Date of most recent review: May 2026.
