Dr. Chris Tomassian is a California-born, board-certified dermatologist known for his expertise in both cosmetic and medical dermatology — with a specialty in lasers and acne scarring. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Kansas, where he served as Cosmetic Chief and was named Best Dermatologist in Kansas City in 2020.

Dr. Tomassian founded The Dermatology Collective with a clear mission: to create a welcoming, state-of-the-art space where patients receive expert care tailored to their unique skin goals. He's committed to achieving natural, youthful results through personalized treatment plans — treating every patient like family.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Tomassian is a trusted voice on social media, where he educates millions on skincare, debunks misinformation, and bridges the gap between science and accessible skincare.

Dr. Virginia Alvarado Jones is a board-certified, UCSF-trained dermatologist who provides comprehensive care for both adults and children. She practices the full spectrum of dermatology, including medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Jones has a particular interest in laser treatments and possesses extensive training in the care of ethnic skin.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, Dr. Jones completed her dermatology residency at UCSF — one of the nation's top institutions for medical and complex medical dermatology. She brings a patient-centered approach with a deep commitment to health equity and education.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Jones enhances access and comfort for our bilingual patients.

Research & Advocacy — Dr. Jones has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications with a focus on skin of color, diversity in medical education, and autoimmune skin diseases. Her scholarship reflects a career-long dedication to inclusive care and reducing dermatologic health disparities.

Dr. Bobak Hedayati is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with extensive expertise in the precise removal of skin cancer and advanced reconstructive techniques. He is one of the only ACMS-certified Mohs surgeons serving the Glendora area, offering patients access to the highest level of surgical care close to home.

His fellowship training — accredited by the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) — represents the gold standard in skin cancer treatment. ACMS fellows complete an additional year of specialized training beyond dermatology residency, including over 500 complex cases performed under expert supervision. This ensures unmatched precision in both skin cancer removal and cosmetic reconstruction.

The Medical Board of California now encourages patients to seek ACMS-certified Mohs surgeons to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and outcomes. We are proud to offer Dr. Hedayati's care in-house to support our patients through every step of their skin cancer journey.
